Keywords for Searching Literary Databases
1. Use either the title (more specific) or the author of the work you are researching
2. Link the title or author with the boolean operator AND with the term criticism or literary criticism -example: The Awakening AND criticism or The Awakening AND literary criticism
3.Literature Resource Center and Literary Reference Center - use the name of the work or author only without the term criticism.
4. Most of these databases will have a checkmark or tab for either literary criticism OR scholarly or peer reviewed journal if you choose to use these.
5. Student Resources in Context- Use title or author, then select the type of source from the left side of results.
